A type of honey very common on our tables is certainly the wildflower honey. There is no preeminent floral type, but you can find flavors and characteristics of various types of flowers. It is clearer and more transparent, with a more delicate, sweet and less intense flavor. It tends to crystallize after a few months from the harvest and is produced in the spring period, until June-July. Honey is naturally rich in antioxidant minerals, more numerous in dark colored wildflower honeys. It is useful in the treatment of flu states, and has antibacterial use.
