At our olive mill in Sarteano, between Val d’Orcia and Valdichiana, we offer a tour dedicated to young visitors, combining storytelling, learning and taste.
A guided olive mill tour designed for children
During the visit, children will be accompanied by Gemma and Olly, our friendly characters, who guide them through the entire experience, explaining each step of the production process in a clear and enjoyable way.
The tour explains the full journey of extra virgin olive oil, from olive grove management and harvesting to processing in the mill, and finally to bottling and packaging.
In particular, the experience allows children to understand:
- olive grove management and harvesting
- washing and leaf removal
- crushing, malaxation and separation
- final oil separation
- bottling and packaging

Tasting and snack
At the end of the tour, children will enjoy a traditional bruschetta with extra virgin olive oil, while adults will take part in a guided olive oil tasting.
